PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT
The project's primary objective was to gather an extensive list of universities across the UAE. This comprehensive database served as a valuable resource for the client's lead generation initiatives. Lead generation is a crucial aspect of expanding and maintaining the client's customer base, and having access to accurate and up-to-date information on universities is essential.

My Approach
Client Coordination: Initiated communication with the client to define the scope of the lead generation effort. This involved understanding the target audience, specific types of universities, and the key positions within these institutions that needed to be gathered, including names, positions, emails, and contact numbers.
Online Spreadsheet: Created a structured online spreadsheet for tracking and listing leads. Ensured that the columns were organized chronologically and applied conditional formatting for quick reference and data management.
Initial Research: Conducted comprehensive research to identify the initial list of universities in the UAE. Categorized the universities by emirate, beginning with Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and then expanded to cover the remaining emirates.
Lead Generation: Actively gathered leads by visiting each university's official website and reviewing related articles and publications. Utilized Hunter.io, a third-party application, to research and verify email addresses. In cases where emails were unavailable, a test run was performed by applying a standard email format to generate potential email addresses.
Email Verification: To ensure accuracy, implemented an email verification process. For example, if the email format was jech.alcala@company.com and an email for "John Doe" couldn't be found, a similar format such as john.doe@company.com was applied as a test.
Ongoing Updates: Continuously monitored and updated the lead database to ensure that the information remained accurate and current, enhancing the client's lead generation efforts.
This systematic approach streamlined the lead generation process and provided the client with a reliable database of universities to support their CRM and business growth.
